Kiddwaya, a former participant of the Big Brother Naija reality show, recently expressed his frustration over the challenges of being a billionaire’s son, citing that people harbor resentment towards the wealthy.
Terseer Waya, known as Kiddwaya, hails from a family of affluence, with his father, Terry Waya, being a prominent billionaire and socialite. In a post made on his X handle, Kiddwaya shared a picture of himself and his father arriving in Milan, Italy, via a private jet. Alongside the image, he commented, “Dad see wetin you cause. To be a billionaire’s son no be easy. Na so my own son go collect.”
This statement stirred a wave of criticism, with some of his followers accusing him of flaunting his opulent lifestyle and, in their eyes, oppressing those who are less fortunate. In response to the backlash, Kiddwaya didn’t shy away from addressing his detractors, stating,
“You guys just love to hate rich people. Keep on hating. We ain’t going anywhere. I’m going to be in your faces till @elonmusk decides to delete this app. Then we move to IG. Then Snapchat. LinkedIn sef. You go see my posts for your dreams.”

Kiddwaya’s remarks shed light on the challenges he faces as a billionaire’s son, contending that his privilege often becomes a point of contention among those who may not share the same financial advantages.
This declaration ignited a debate, prompting various reactions from his audience. Nevertheless, Kiddwaya remained unapologetic and expressed his intention to continue sharing his life on social media platforms.
