The match between Liverpool & Real Madrid started with full attacking forces.

Rüdiger takes the ball from Gakpo inside the box. A fantastic challenge from the centre-back in a dangerous area.
Valverde overhits a diagonal aiming for Vinicius and Gomez easily beats him to it. The centre-back rolls it back to Alisson who side-foots a clearance straight into Vinicius who was turning away to protect his face. The ball cannons into him and loops up into an open goal.
Brilliant save by Alisson! The corner flashes across the area and reaches Vinicius on the left side of the area.

He takes a touch and whips an early shot towards the far corner, very similar to his goal, but this time Alisson gets down very smartly to push it away.
That was a superb shot because a) Vinicius took the shot early and b) Alisson must have seen it late.
Gakpo makes progress and gets to the byeline on the right of the Real Madrid box but his pass doesn’t make it through the crowd.
Real Madrid break in numbers but Henderson, Bajcetic and the Stakhanovite Nunez race back and mop up the counter-attack.
Alexander-Arnold reaches it and plays it back to Alisson, who does his best Courtois impression by making a huge error, passing the ball straight to Vinicius who had chased it down and the ball bounced off the Brazilian winger, over the goalkeeper and into the net!
