Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, is set to create a historic moment at the upcoming 2024 Billboard Women In Music Event.
The talented ‘Essence’ singer has been announced as the recipient of the Breakthrough Award Honor, marking her as the first-ever Nigerian to be honored at this prestigious event.
Billboard unveiled the list of honorees for the 2024 Women In Music Awards on Wednesday.
Alongside Tems, other distinguished recipients include Kylie Minogue (Icon Award Honoree), Ice Spice (Hitmaker Award Honoree), Victoria Monét (Rising Star Award Honoree), and Young Miko (Impact Award Honoree).
