The Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has
reportedly dropped five players from his initial
30-man FIFA World Cup squad in Russia.
Dropped from the squad are; Standard Liege defender, Uche Agbo,
Bulgaria-based Stephen Eze, Dele Ajiboye of Plateau United and
Nigerian Professional Football League top scorer, Junior Lokosa.
Lokosa made his international debut for the three-time African
champions in Monday’s friendly against DR Congo.
It was also gathered from a reliable source that Gent winger,
Moses Simon will travel with the team to London for the proposed
scan on his thigh injury.
After their game with England, the team will depart for Bad
Tatzmannsdorf, a town in Austria, where they will spend eight
days at the Avita Resort before flying to Russia.
