Cristiano Ronaldo escape UEFA ban and fined €20,000 for copying Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone celebration.
The Portugal international fired his side into the quarter-finals with a hat-trick in the second leg in Allianz Arena, overturning Atletico’s 2-0 victory from the first leg.
UEFA’s verdict comes as no surprise, given to Simeone was handed the same punishment for celebrating in such a manner.
Ronaldo is free to face Ajax in the quarter-finals after his hat-trick allowed Juventus to continue.
The first leg of the quarter-final takes place in Amsterdam on April 10.
