Rangers vs Manchester United’s Pre Season Friendly match started the with full attacking forces.
Goals came in each half from Amad Diallo and Joe Hugill.
We can have some positivity back now, heading into the tour of the US. This was a very good all round performance, with a clean sheet too.
Man United looked a lot more composed than in the Rosenborg game and there were some standout performances.
That was very nearly the end of Andre Onana’s clean sheet. A cross comes in from Rangers’ left, it picks out a man and the effort is kept out by Onana, who was diving in the other direction to start with.

A dreary second half has been livened up. Maxi Oyelele splits the defence with a pass to Joe Hugill, who rifles his shot high into the net.
Jack Butland stood no chance with that, Joe Hugill will be delighted.
He has now scored two pre-seasons running, netting in 2-0 win against Leeds United 12 months ago.
There are just five minutes left at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and already there are a lot of empty seats. Aside from Hoe Hugill’s goal, this second half has been a total non-event.

What a goal from Amad. We did say he’d been United’s best player and he opens the scoring by expertly cutting inside and finding the bottom left corner.
The only moment of true quality and he gets his reward. Erik ten Hag was highly critical after Rosenborg but will be happier here, particularly with Amad.
Manchester United’s new signing looks very composed in possession.
It’s been a scrappy start with Casemiro giving away an early free-kick, which comes to nothing. Sancho looks bright so far
Amad wins a corner after an impressive run near the touchline. Casemiro’s header goes just wide.
