Imo Police Intensify Efforts to Apprehend IPOB-ESN Attackers.

 

In response to the recent attacks on Correctional Service Farm Settlements and the residence of Senator Patrick Ndubeze in Okigwe, the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, has initiated a robust strategy to track down the suspected IPOB-ESN elements believed to be behind the incidents.

A press release from Police Public Relations Officer Okoye Henry, issued on Monday in Owerri, outlines the decisive measures being taken to address the situation.

According to the statement, Commissioner Aboki Danjuma has directed the deployment of the Command’s Special Tactical Squad, equipped with necessary resources, to collaborate closely with the military and other security agencies. Their primary objective is to locate and apprehend the alleged perpetrators responsible for the attacks on Correctional Service Farm Settlements and Senator Patrick Ndubeze’s residence.

During his visit to Okigwe for an on-the-spot assessment, Commissioner Danjuma emphasized the urgency of the situation. He instructed the special tactical squad operatives to escalate their efforts to ensure the safe rescue of the officer in charge of the farm settlement and the apprehension of the escaped inmates. Additionally, he stressed the importance of bringing the culprits to justice.

This proactive approach underscores the commitment of the Imo State Police Command to maintaining peace and security in the region.
