DBeauty Mogul, a hair vendor, has publicly accused Josephine Otabor, better known as Phyna, a former Big Brother Naija winner, of failing to return a wig allegedly rented for a specific event after the expiration of the rental period.
According to the vendor’s message shared via Instablog and widely circulated on social media, Phyna supposedly rented the wig for the A Tribe Called Judah movie premiere held on Sunday, December 10, 2023. The agreement was for the wig to be returned the following day, but as of now, it remains unreturned.
Expressing concern, the vendor’s message stated, “Phyna rented my wig for the movie premiere of A Tribe Called Judah on Sunday (10th, Dec 2023). She ought to return the wig on Monday (11th, Dec 2023). Till this minute, she hasn’t returned my wigs. Can you please help in any way?”
When asked about evidence supporting the claim, the vendor confirmed having proof.

In response, Phyna refuted the allegations, dismissing them as the actions of “clout chasers and blackmailers.”
Taking to her Instagram story, Phyna wrote, “Every day brings different stories. Now it’s clout chasers and blackmailers… Y’all need to do better… Phyna is the air everybody in Nigeria breathes… Give this whole nonsense a break for a moment. Even I am tired of it.”
