Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently shared an update on Victor Osimhen’s status at Napoli, shedding light on the Nigerian striker’s potential future amidst mounting interest from clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.
Romano emphasized that the chances of Osimhen agreeing to a contract extension with Napoli seem slim, especially with both Chelsea and Arsenal expressing their interest in acquiring the player.
The current agreement between Osimhen and Napoli is due to expire in June 2025.
During a conversation on the Kick streaming platform, Romano remarked, “There’s no consensus between Napoli and Osimhen regarding a contract extension. This is pivotal because his existing deal only runs until June 2025. Based on the information I have, Osimhen isn’t inclined to sign a new contract with Napoli as of today.”
