Seun Kuti, the renowned Afrobeat artist, recently made bold assertions, stating that no Nigerian pastor has ever executed a genuine miracle. His comments emerged following the circulation of a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) documentary exposing allegations of sexual assault and misconduct against the late pastor TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
The documentary extensively outlined accusations of abuse, harassment, rape, manipulation, orchestrated miracles, and the clandestine lifestyle of the deceased prophet.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Seun Kuti passionately criticized Nigerian pastors, branding their miracles as fraudulent. He likened these religious figures to ordinary individuals exploiting the church as a cover for their questionable behaviors.

In his poignant words, “No Nigerian pastor has ever performed a real miracle. They are all faking it. All the General Overseer Pastors are guilty of the same offenses BBC has accused TB Joshua of. Now, the new term for ‘rape’ is ‘TBJ.'”
The passing of late TB Joshua occurred in June 2021 at the age of 57, leaving a significant impact on the religious landscape.
