The match between Newcastle United vs Manchester Utd started with full attacking forces.
After more good play from Saint-Maximin, Isak’s shot from the edge of the area is blocked by Martinez. The crowd appealed for handball but it looked like Martinez’s arms were behind his back.
Manchester United are trying to beat Newcastle at their own game with their gamesmanship and dependence on the counter-attack.
They’ve not got the balance right when they have the skill set to retain the ball more and keep the ball in Newcastle’s half. Newcastle have, unsurprisingly, been the better side in the first 20 minutes.
