Phyna, a former participant on the Big Brother Naija reality show, recently criticized her fellow contestant Neo Akpofure for his derogatory remarks about her during the All-Star edition of the program.
Expressing her displeasure on her podcast, Spill With Phyna, the BBNaija ‘Level Up’ winner revealed that Neo had rebuked someone for using her slang around him, referring to her as “razz.”
In the podcast episode, Phyna expressed her dismay, particularly as Neo himself owes his initial exposure to Lagos to the Big Brother Naija platform.
Recalling the incident she witnessed on the All-Star show, Phyna said,
“I was watching Neo in the Big Brother All Stars House that day. I don’t know what prompted me to watch, but I saw Neo reacting negatively when someone used my slang, ‘Who deyyyy,’ around him. He commented dismissively, referring to me as ‘that razz girl.'”

Highlighting the irony of Neo’s comments, Phyna emphasized,
“Coming from Neo that came to Lagos for the very first time because of Big Brother Nigeria. Till now I’m still trying to understand why he would have to say that about me because I’ve not even met the guy before. I don’t know what he looks like. I only see him online.”
During the podcast, Pere Egbi, Phyna’s guest on the show, extended an apology on behalf of Neo for his actions.
