Manchester United’s Ten Hag Criticizes Team’s Errors in 2-2 Draw Against Liverpool.
Manchester United’s head coach, Erik ten Hag, expressed frustration over his team’s “stupid mistakes” following their 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
At Old Trafford, the Red Devils found themselves trailing early on due to a goal from Luis Diaz. However, a spirited comeback saw Ten Hag’s side take the lead in the second half courtesy of goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo.
Despite their efforts, a late penalty from Mohamed Salah meant the match ended in a draw.

Speaking to BBC MOTD, Ten Hag remarked, “I’m disappointed that we’ve dropped seven points in one week after being in winning positions, but we have to take responsibility for our own errors.”
He continued, “Nevertheless, there’s a sense of pride in the team’s progress. The potential within this squad is immense, and that’s something to be proud of.”
“We struggled in crucial areas, particularly with our younger players lacking confidence in winning duels. However, I’m encouraged by our second-half performance and the determination shown by the team,” Ten Hag added.
