The match between Manchester United & Everton started with full attacking forces.
Man Utd double their lead – and it’s Martial who has found the net.
It’s a neat finish too, as Rashford puts it on a plate for the Frenchman, who guides the ball into the back of the net.
Martial fires home from close range to make it 2-0. A simple finish after some good work from Rashford. Everton poor defending at the back.
Man United play yet another long diagonal into space behind the Everton defence. Antony cuts inside Godfrey onto his trusty left foot, advances on goal and shoots. Jordan Pickford saves again. That’s your lot for the first half.
Fernandes goes close to giving Man Utd a second.
Sabitzer’s cross finds the head of the midfielder, but his strike is headed straight at Pickford.

It’s been a similar tale in the early moments of the second-half. United have been on top but looked blunt in front of goal, Everton have been wasteful with the ball but still posed a threat from set-pieces. As long as there is only one goal in this, they will always have a chance.
Marcel Sabitzer plays another ball over the top but his target Jadon Sancho hadn’t made the run in behind. Michael Keane shepherds the ball back to Jordan Pickford.
It has been an even start to the second-half at Old Trafford, with chances few and far between.
Everton have changed shape and look slightly more solid, while Man Utd have given the ball away more than what they did in the first half.
Better late than never. Rather fitting for United that a ‘defensive-minded’ player got the breakthrough after all of the feckless finishing. Sancho showed fine vision to spot the run of McTominay and he clinically exploited Keane’s doziness and Pickford’s porousness.
Everton have been astonishingly loose in defence all afternoon but United’s pressure has been near-constant and this has been one of their finest halves all season. It’s certainly been the most creative.
