Manchester City have confirmed that the club midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan, has tested positive for COVID-19, ahead tonight’s Premier League clash with Wolves.
Gundogan will now self-isolate for ten days, which will see him miss at least three games for Pep Guardiola’s side against Wolves, Bournemouth and Leicester City.

Man City revealed this in a statement via the club’s official website on Monday.
“Manchester City FC can confirm that Ilkay Gundogan has tested positive for COVID-19.
“Ilkay is now observing a ten-day period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine.“Everyone at the Club wishes Ilkay a speedy recovery.”
