Luka Modric’s representative has addressed the potential move of the Croatian midfielder from Real Madrid to Saudi Arabia. Amid Modric’s limited playtime at Santiago Bernabeu this season, Borja Couce, Modric’s agent, hinted at his client’s openness to a switch to the Middle East as the upcoming January transfer window approaches. Couce disclosed that Modric has received multiple offers from Saudi Arabian clubs.
Despite featuring in 15 games for Real Madrid this season, the 38-year-old has started in only six matches. Expressing dissatisfaction with his minimal playing opportunities, the midfielder has voiced his unhappiness.

In an interview with Shoot, Couce stated, “There was interest in Modric over the summer from Saudi clubs aiming to secure his signature. He has received offers from clubs in the capital and elsewhere.”
“Modric is currently considering his options at Real Madrid, but the prospect of joining the Saudi Pro League remains viable if the offer aligns with his preferences.”
Should Modric depart midway through the season, it would come as a surprise, particularly with the chance to culminate his career in Spain by securing success in La Liga.
