American hip-hop stars Kodak Black and Lil Durk have expressed their condolences for the late rising Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, who tragically passed away last week.
In an emotional Instagram live session with his fans, Kodak Black revealed that he had only recently discovered Mohbad’s social media page just a few days before the unfortunate event occurred.
He shared his sentiments, saying,
“R.I.P to Mohbad. Kodak, you were his neighborhood hero until his passing. Damn! What’s even more surreal is that I just stumbled upon this guy’s page this week – only a few days ago. Sleep well, wherever you are, man.”

Likewise, Lil Durk paid his final respects to the late Nigerian rapper through his Instagram story and his X handle on Tuesday. He wrote a heartfelt message, saying,
“RIP Mohbad aka Imole.”
