Former England international, Frank Lampard has been been sacked as Chelsea Football Club Manager. #LAMPARDOUT
Under pressure head coach Frank Lampard is battling to save his job and oversaw a win over Luton Town in the FA Cup on Sunday.
But that may not be enough to save him.The Blues have been on a woeful run of form in the Premier League and Roman Abramovich is set to make a key decision on his head coach’s future, with reports in the Telegraph suggesting Lampard could be sacked today.

If that is a the case, a new boss will have less than a week to get any business done in the transfer market.

However, the club’s owner, Roman Abramovich has reacted The Blue’s action and his statement reads;
This was a very difficult decision for the Club, not least because I have an excellent personal relationship with Frank and I have the utmost respect for him’.
He is a man of great integrity and has the highest of work ethics. However, under current circumstances we believe it is best to change managers.
On behalf of everyone at the Club, the Board and personally, I would like to thank Frank for his work as Head Coach and wish him every success in the future.
He is an important icon of this great club and his status here remains undiminished. He will always be warmly welcomed back at Stamford Bridge.
