Chidiadi Chukwuemeka and her boyfriend Emmanuel Christopher has been arrested by Edo State Police officers.
The 17 years old was paraded by enforcement officer along side with her boyfriend who is 28 years old.
The girl revealed her main purpose behind her action when she was been interrogated
In her words she said;
“I faked being kidnapped and stayed in my boyfriend’s house for three (3) days.”
She explained futher that after faking the kidnap, her brother was contacted to pay for ransom of five hundred thousand naira but he could meet up and family members refused give helping hands by not contributing the money asked to set her free.
She stayed in her boyfriend’s house for three days, and her boyfriend force her to go and report herself to the police before it get out of hands because he wasn’t feeling comfortable with the Plan again.
Bello Kontongs who is the Public Relations Officer of Edo state has stated that the lovebirds will likely be charged to court when they are done with the investigation.
