Influential Nigerian politician, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to his invitation by the Nigerian Police who accused him of falsehood and criminal defamation.

Femi Fani-Kayode, was been invited for questioning by the Nigeria Police for allegedly breaching peace, conspiracy, falsehood and criminal defamation.
The outspoken chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted to the recent inviation by the police through his counsel as he wrote to the police, asking for a new date for his appointment.
In the letter to the police, Fani-Kayode said the invitation letter is very vague as it did not state those that complained about his publication.
He has asked for the interview to hold on September 4th or 5th.
