A big explosion with a loud strange voice hit Akure, Ondo state and destroyed many houses.
Nothing less than 100 hundred buildings were in the early hours of Saturday destroyed following an explosion that rocked Ondo State.
However, the explosion happened in the early hours of Saturday at Eleyowo, Akure, along Owo-Akure highway around 1 a.m.
According to residents of the area, a terrifying loud bang was heard when everyone was already asleep.
Also affected in the explosion was a full boarding school, Aina Awawul Secondary School. One the most popular churches in Akure, Possibility Ground Ministry. As well as fueling station and hundreds of buildings.
The highway was cut off with hundreds of travelers stranded.

The spot at which the bomb or blast happened cut off the road, hindering vehicular movement.
Previously, it was reported that a report said that there was a fire outbreak in Agboju. The location which is close to FESTAC, Amuwo Odofin local government area in Lagos state on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
Report shows that the fire incident happened not more than a week after an explosion rocked some communities in Lagos destroying many houses and other property.
