The Grammy-winning electronic music duo, Daft Punk have announced their split after 28 years.
The helmet-wearing French duo, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, announced their break up in an eight-minute video, called Epilogue.
The duo had four chart-topping albums and six Grammy wins.
Kathryn Frazier, the band’s longtime publicist, also confirmed the split.

The breakup comes twenty eight years after Daft Punk was formed in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.

The group released their last album Random Access Memories, featuring the track ‘Get Lucky’, which topped global charts worldwide.
Daft Punk was made up of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
