Brentford vs Chelsea started the match with full attacking forces.
Chelsea’s Sterling has yet to score or assist a Premier League goal in four games against Brentford, the most he’s faced a side without registering a single goal involvement. He’s only faced Manchester United (20 games and two assists) and Hull City (six games and one assist) more often without scoring than his four against the Bees.
Reguilon goes close to doubling Brentford’s advantage. Chelsea cannot handle the Bees’ crosses into the box, with Roerslev drilling a ball over to Reguilon. The left-back gets ahead of Gusto and sends his downward header towards the bottom-left corner but hits the post.
From going ahead in the first half to being behind in the second, the final 15 minutes will be a real test of Chelsea’s character. The Blues have only had three shots since the restart but haven’t even hit the target once.

Onyeka got an assist and a yellow card in the second half and is now coming off. The usually ever-present Jensen takes his place.
The Blues dominated the early possession, but the Bees had the better opportunities to score early on. Wissa got onto the end of a low cross and crashed the side of the net before an ambitious overhead kick went straight at Petrovic.
Jackson then had a chance, going around Flekken before having his tame strike cleared off the line by Zanka, but scored soon after.
Gusto’s brilliant cross from the right found the striker, who planted his downward header into the bottom-left corner. He had a chance to double his tally soon after, but his low strike from a narrow-angle was saved by the goalkeeper.
