Brazil coach Tite has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain forward
Neymar will be fit to play against Croatia in their Pre-World Cup
friendly game on Sunday in London.
Neymar suffered a broken metatarsal in the French Ligue and ruled him
out for the greater part of the second half of the season and they are
hoping to avoid a repeat of 2014 misfortune that saw Brazil crashed
out of the World Cup in an embarrassing manner.
Ex-Barcelona star Iniesta set to play his last game in Spain
Selacao has been doing everything possible to ensure the former
Barcelona attacker gets to Russia in full fitness.
“He’ll be on the bench because he’s still in the process of recovery,” he
explained in a pre-match press conference.
“We have to prepare the entire team, so he’ll play in the second half.”
Brazil will face Switzerland in their opening game in the World Cup on
June 17th and Neymar is likely to play in the opening match against
the Swiss.
