Bayer Leverkusen has officially announced that Victor Boniface is scheduled for surgery in the upcoming days, sidelining the player for a considerable period.
The Bundesliga pacesetters confirmed this critical update through a statement released on their official social media platform. The 23-year-old striker is anticipated to remain off the field until early April due to the impending surgical procedure.
Through their platform, Bayer Leverkusen conveyed, “Victor Boniface sustained a muscle-tendon injury in the right adductor region while in the Nigerian training camp in Dubai. The forward will undergo surgery shortly and is projected to be out of commission until early April.”
