FC Barcelona vs Tottenham‘s match started with full attacking forces.
Araujo was dashing onto the ball down the left but on the edge of the area, Davinson Sanchez attempted an audacious and ultimately expert slide tackle, scooping the ball away. A couple of yards further and it would have been a penalty, but Sanchez is the hero for that.

Manor Solomon just found himself 1-on-1 with ter Stegen, albeit under pressure from Garcia, but fired straight at the goalie.

By no means are Spurs dominating this match but they have managed to nullify the early potency of their Spanish aggressors.

Gavi heads wide from a few yards out. Raphinha had put in a good spinning cross and if Gavi hadn’t headed it, Oriol Romeu would have. Spurs could have defended better there – nobody was out to Raphinha quick enough.
