The match between Arsenal & Everton started with full attacking forces.
A chance for Richarlison, who powers into the Blades box down the right before sending a fierce dipper inches over the bar. It wasn’t the easiest opportunity, but he holds his head in his hands anyway. Standards are high in Brazil.
And that’s that for the first half, and it’s Arsenal who go in at the break two goals ahead on the night and five points ahead in the league.
Everton did so well to hold their shape at the back for 40 minutes, but two goals in five or so minutes have changed the complexion of this one massively, and it was all down to two lapses in concentration.
Everton have been their own undoing in that half. For 40 minutes Arsenal looked bereft of creativity in the face of a resolute defence but a couple of mistakes – both pounced on by Bukayo Saka – has given the Gunners a very comfortable lead.

They head into the break with a two-goal cushion.
Arsenal’s player of the season opens the scoring at the Emirates. Saka cuts in from the wing and whistles a shot through Pickford at his near post.
The leaders lead! “I’ve have looked at the remaining Everton fixtures,” adds Mary Waltz. “I have come to the conclusion we are going down. Sean is doing his best but we just don’t score enough and most of our remaining matches are against top ten squads.
Everton are spared some serious blushes. Idrissa Gueye dallies with the ball deep inside his own half. Bukayo Saka nips in and pokes the ball across to Gabriel Martinelli who takes it into the box and slots it past Jordan Pickford.
The assistant referee raises the offside flag immediately but VAR is going to check it.
The board goes up for four additional minutes, but Arsenal don’t care because Martinelli has the ball in the back of the net!
The linesman was quick to stick his flag in the air, and it looks to be the right call but there is a long VAR check going on..
